Everest Region Trekking

 Everest Region Trekking is the most popular, widely known, and most demanded trekking trail in Nepal since travelers wish to make a trip to the highest point of the earth, Mt. Everest 8,848 m. The trekking to the Everest region has been popular in the world ever since Sir Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay for the first time made a successful summit on these highest peaks in 1953.

Everest region is located in the northeast of the country in Solukhumbu district, the home of legendary and friendly Sherpa ethnic groups, who have earned their name and fame in the tourism sector primarily in the expedition. Mt. Everest is famously known as Sagarmatha in Nepali and Chhumalungma in Tibetan language, which lies between the Tibet and Nepal border, therefore, the travelers make expeditions either from Tibet or from the Nepal side. Everest trekking areas are protected by the Sagarmatha National Park which was established in 1976, covering an area of 1148 square kilometers. It is the home of various species of birds, animals, and flowering plants and it is also believed that the Himalayan man known to be Yeti is found in this very jungle.

One of the attractions of this trekking is that the travelers are overwhelmed with the astonishing views of the white Himalayas including Mt. Everest and various other mountains queuing from north to south. Besides, travelers can explore the Buddhist monasteries, Shrines, Chorten, Sherpa culture, tradition, lifestyles, unique rocky hills, and glaciers and make a summit to various peaks situated in the region. The trekking to Everest region is considered to be one of the challenges, since one has to walk many days and spend many nights in remote and high-altitude areas, however, the trail goes through a well-developed path. But, travelers have various options, they can simply make a trip up to the Everest base camp and return back or they can visit other areas and take snaps from various angles and you may go to Everest  Base Camp by helicopter too

It is possible to organize the Everest region trekking the whole year round, but the best time to visit the area is considered to be the beginning of March to mid-May and from the beginning of September to mid-November.
